I rang up to order OS map, as I prefer to talk to people.
Very good price, and my map arrived next day by courier.
Can't ask for better service.

Ordered 2 OS microfibre towels for a camping trip. Paid £3.99 for next day delivery. When the order confirmation arrived it said they would be delivered with Friday or Saturday. I called in to say surely next day means next day not a choice of 2 days. The lady said yes must have been a standard email but the goods were in stock and would be dispatched later in the afternoon and delivered the following day. The following day, the order was shown as still pending. I called again and was informed the order was ready to be shipped. On explaining that they should have left them yesterday I was first told it was because I hadn’t ordered until the evening, I was then told it was because they had no stock. On telling her that both of these excuses were clearly rubbish she went off to check and came back with the line that the order had been overlooked by the warehouse. However, I shouldn’t worry that my order that I had paid for for deliver today had been upgraded free of charge to a Saturday delivery! Order cancelled and will purchase from a company that can sort themselves out. Do yourself a favour and but elsewhere, they are cheap for a reason!

The page told me to order the book I wanted in the next couple of hours for same-day dispatch. They said normally in stock. Delivery would be within 2-4 days (they specified the dates).
Two weeks later I chased them and they admitted that the book was out of stock and they had no idea when they would get stock. Though the same details were still on their website.
Disingenuous to say the least and I was very inconvenienced as the book was needed for travel.

Always get my OS maps here, cheaper than Ordnance Survey itself, plus some others. Their despatch has always been instant and they have a real and helpful person in the office who can answer questions about a product by actually getting up and looking at it!

Useless. Ordered a map of Havana on 9th May for a holiday on 19th. No communication at all and eventually got one elsewhere. On the day of my return I got an email (26th - over TWO weeks since ordering) saying they were out of stock and would let me know when they got them back in. Asked for a refund...

USELESS waste of time NO STOCK just an email saying wait till they get in stock then will post out UTTER USELESS

I ordered a compass in November 2021,it arrived defective and I was told a replacement would be sent. Still have not received a replacement even though they have them in stock, they insist the replacement has to come from the manufacturer. After months of being put off today I asked again for a replacement from them or a full refund and was told they would not do that.
There was no option to leave a no star feedback otherwise I would have done so, appalling service.

Had a very rude lady on telephone when I rang to find out why they took my order and money and said in stock only to find out later it was not then to be told they didn't know when I would get it. So after chasing it up second time with very unhelpful lady was put on to her friend who said she was manager and again very rude calling me
My lovely every other word so disrespectful .they only had to say they would keep me informed but nothing. Very worrying as to if I didnt chase it I would have been forgotten .very rude customer care do not buy from these people .

I ordered 3 maps of Ukraine on the 19th of March. It stated 2-4 days delivery. Today on the 28th of March I contacted customer to ask where my order was. I got a reply saying that they do not have the maps I ordered in stock and have no idea of when they will be back in stock, but the thing that most disgusts me about Dash4it is they are still advertising the maps they don't have with a stopwatch saying that if you order within the next hour you'll get "same day dispatch"
This kind of deciept is unacceptable. We are trying to plan a humanitarian mission to Ukraine and had been waiting for the maps to arrive before setting off. We are now behind by days as a result of this companies disgusting false advertising. I will never buy from them again. I did get a full refund but no response to the fact that they are still advertising a map that they don't know will be back in stock.

I really wanted to champion an independent firm, not Amazon but sadly with no communication for 11 days after ordering, paying and then an e mail saying it will take 3-5 days to come into stock...that was 11 days ago, I have had to phone up and cancel order. It is great that there IS a customer care number and that was faultless, but I should have had an up date if they were having problems with stock!

Similar to other reviewers I'm afraid.

Ordered a map (took my money) without being in stock over five weeks ago. Expected 3-5 days, but two weeks go by and no news - so I get in touch to get an update. They basically told me they'd send it out when they had it in stock...

Almost one month goes by and I finally get an email to say they had dispatched the map - only for it to be the wrong one! Had to print off a returns label and return the wrong map with proof of postage from a post office before they would re-send the correct one.

Then... they sent me the same wrong map AGAIN! Apologised, but insisted I need to return the other map before they re-send the correct one - such a hassle.

At this point, I would expect a company to be embarrassed by their litany of mistakes, and just send out the correct map out, but clearly they are not interested in retaining their customers.

I buy most of my os maps from here. Cheaper than most places including os direct (even when they have a sale on). And, unlike when ordering from elsewhere online I've always received the latest versions. The map locator is also very easy to use.

What a simply wonderful company you are!
For many reasons:

- Very keenly priced
- A fantastic choice of items, particularly suitable as presents for MEN, quite rare/tricky
- and local local to me in Cornwall, importantly employing Cornish people
